I’ve been there.
Thriving to crawl like
a vine seeking to find
some ray of hope in the
lowest depths of darkness
and looming sorrows.

And something’s lurking.
Their eyes glow green
casting great fear in me.
But a burgeoning beam
of light emanated telling
me to shine enormously.

Out of nothing, there was
a sudden burst of screaming
colors in me—grabbing my
pen, creating handcrafts and
show them that I can forge
diamonds from the rock-bottom.
