Rainforest Live: rainforestcam.org

We want to set up a webcam in the center of the Amazonas rainforest, which enables the public to realize the beauty and activity inside the forest through an online platform. People could be encouraged to take action!
In order to place a working webcam inside the Amazonas it is necessary to collaborate with a local YPPO member. We want to connect a webcam to solar planes which power the webcam. The main unit shall be a Raspberry Pi which transmit the pictures via satellites or local communication services..

Furthermore we would like to set up a website that is called rainforestcam.org to make the webcam stream available to everyone! It would be a nice possible to get a live look inside the beauty of the rainforest that we need to protect!

The last step will be to share the webcam via social media and other channels to raise further attention for the project outside of the YPPO community! We have to take every step to protect the rainforest!
