by Amina Shayne
Being the Youth Planet Protector Organization Country Representative for the Philippines, she aims to create a resilient network of youth advocate from the different parts of the Philippines.
The journey of an Amina Shayne started as she espied on how the world currently revolves around the sight of rotting fauna and the sound of dying flora. The turning of the hues of the sea from blue to black and the sight of the continuous turning of forest into the the bald state -- these are just some of the happenings that pushed her to do something.

At the age of eight, Amina Shayne started involving herself in community immersions and volunteer works that deal with peace and ecological advocacies. She uses the power of paintbrushes, murals and digital art as a form of protest art to address ecological issue and to inspire other youth advocates. She is also a student researcher that aims to find alternative solutions on issues involving marine life degradation. Currently, she is working on studies on alternative coral reefs and coral fragment regeneration. In terms of community immersion, she has already done numerous community projects initiatives that focuses on combatting environmental degradation specifically, in the field of marine life conservation.

Being the Youth Planet Protector Organization Country Representative for the Philippines, she aims to create a resilient network of youth advocate from the different parts of the Philippines. Although young at age, she believes that it doesn't hinder her for pushing forward for her advocacies because she believes that the most powerful tool to create a paradigm shift in a world that's being devoured by degradation is inspiration.
